Fiquei afastada um pouco dos meus Blogs =( Ainda não me sinto 100% bem, mas decidi RECOMEÇAR e escolhi Ordinarius porque eles tem um estilo assim incrivelmente perfeito!
O sexteto vocal ORDINARIUS tem um repertório variado, e a voz como instrumento principal. Os arranjos inéditos e exclusivos são do diretor musical Augusto Ordine. O repertório é em alguns momentos executado a cappella (sem a utilização de instrumentos) ou enriquecido com instrumentos como violão, cavaquinho e percussões variadas. Abrange o cancioneiro popular nacional e internacional, desde o pop americano de Stevie Wonder, o rock dos Beatles, até a bossa nova de Johnny Alf, o choro de Ernesto Nazareth e o samba de Gilberto Gil.
Com o repertório do primeiro CD, considerado pelo site “O Embrulhador” como um dos melhores discos de música brasileira do ano de 2012, realizaram shows em diversos espaços no Brasil e na Europa. Os clipes do grupo já somam mais de 300 mil visualizações no Youtube e são responsáveis pelo crescente número de fãs do grupo pelo mundo afora.
O clipe da música “As long as you love me”, famosa nas vozes dos Backstreet Boys, foi recomendado pelo próprio grupo americano em postagens no Twitter e Facebook, ajudando a aumentar a popularidade da versão brasileira, que chegou a ser incluída na trilha sonora internacional da novela Salve Jorge, da Rede Globo.
Nos últimos anos, além dos shows de lançamento do primeiro CD, o grupo estreita sua relação com o público através das redes sociais, tendo como mote os já citados projetos audiovisuais elaborados para circulação na internet. Além de “As long as you love me”, alguns dos outros clipes foram “Ladeira da preguiça”, de Gilberto Gil, “Baião de quatro toques”, música de José Miguel Wisnik e Luiz Tatit, com imagens da viagem do grupo pela Alemanha, “Carinhoso”, de Pixinguinha e João de Barro, que conta com a participação em vídeo de vários fãs, e diversos clipes de apresentações ao vivo.
O ORDINARIUS tem como proposta difundir um repertório de qualidade, independente do estilo musical, por meio da música vocal. O show do grupo é uma oportunidade de assistir a uma performance musical de excelência, maravilhar-se com as características que só a música vocal tem e, acima de tudo, divertir-se cantando junto com o grupo.
HISTÓRIA
Entre 2010 e 2011, o sexteto realizou uma turnê pelas escolas SESI do estado do Rio de Janeiro, com uma série de concertos didáticos idealizados pelo “Programa Repertórios” de educação musical. Com este espetáculo, que contava com concepção teatral, o sexteto visitou treze cidades.
Em 2012, competindo com novos grupos vocais de todo o Brasil, o grupo foi segundo colocado no Concurso Nacional de Grupos Vocais promovido pelo evento Brasil Vocal, no CCBB-RJ. No mesmo ano, o grupo lançou seu primeiro CD, considerado pelo site Embrulhador como um dos 100 melhores discos brasileiros do ano e pré-selecionado para o Prêmio da Música Brasileira. Os shows de lançamentos aconteceram na Sala Baden Powell e no Centro Cultural Carioca, no Rio de Janeiro.
Em 2013 o sexteto realizou uma turnê pela Alemanha, apresentando-se na Brot Fabrick (Frankfurt) e realizando workshops de música brasileira. No mesmo ano, realizou duas temporadas de shows no Parque das Ruínas, apresentou-se no Centro de Referência da Música Carioca, abriu o show do Quarteto em Si, dentro do Festival Brasil Vocal, no CCBB, cantou no Rock in Rio e participou da webserie “Mais Vinicius, por favor”, produzida pela produtora Coverflow para o Multishow.
ABOUT
The vocal sextet Ordinarius offers a varied repertoire, with the voice as its primary instrument. The group’s original and exclusive arrangements are the work of Augusto Ordine, musical director and founder. The repertoire includes both acapella pieces and songs with guitar, ukulele and percussive instrumental accompaniment. Works are drawn from Brazilian and international sources, from American pop music by Stevie Wonder to the rock music of the Beatles, from Brazilian bossa nova by Johnny Alf to traditional “choro” by Ernesto Nazareth to samba by Gilberto Gil.
With the repertoire of their first CD, considered to be one of the best CDs of Brazilian music in 2012 by the music site “O embrulhador”, they have toured in Brazil and Europe. Besides a number of clips of live performances and the extremely successful “As long as you love me”, they have produced clips of Gilberto Gil’s “Ladeira da preguiça”, “Baião de quatro toques”, a song by José Miguel Wisnik e Luiz Tatit that accompanies images of the group’s trip to Germany, and the classic “Carinhoso” by Pixinguinha and João de Barro, which incorporates voices and images of the group’s fans.
ORDINARIUS goal is to offer quality vocal music that draws on many styles and sources. Their performances offer the audience the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the best that vocal arrangment can offer, as well as a chance to sing along and join the fun!
HISTORY
In 2010 and 2011, Ordinarius toured the SESI training schools in the state of Rio de Janeiro, conducting didactic concerts with a strong theatrical component, as part of the the ‘Repertórios Program’ of musical education. The group performed in thirteen cities on this tour.
In 2012, the group competed with nine other Brazilian vocal groups and was awarded Second Place in the National Vocal Group Competition promoted by “Brasil Vocal”, at the Bank of Brazil Cultural Center (CCBB) in Rio de Janeiro. In this same year, the group released their first CD, which was acclaimed as one of the 100 best of the year, being preselected for the Brazilian Music Awards. The group promoted the release of their CD with special shows at the Sala Baden Powell and Centro Cultural Carioca, in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2013, the sextet was invited to perform in Germany, where they sang at Brot Fabrick (Frankfurt) and conducted Brazilian music workshops. Also that year, they performed a series of concerts at the Parque das Ruínas and at the Centro de Referência da Música Carioca. They were invited to be the opening act for the vocal group ‘Quarteto em Si’ at the Festival Brasil Vocal (CCBB), performed on the main stage of Rock in Rio, and participated in the webseries “Mais Vinicius, por favor”, produced by Coverflow for Multishow.
